Why Collectors Love It
One Small Step — The Apollo 11 Eagle in 1,087 Pieces
On 20 July 1969, the Eagle landed in the Sea of Tranquility and Neil Armstrong became the first human to walk on the Moon. The LEGO version of the Lunar Module captures the angular descent stage, the gold foil-effect gold panels, the four-legged landing structure, and the ascent stage above it. Split the two stages and you can reenact the ascent back to Columbia.
The 50th Anniversary Mission
Released in 2019 to mark the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11, the set was developed in close collaboration with NASA. The spacecraft proportions are accurate to the real Eagle, the minifigure spacesuits replicate the actual Apollo EVA suit design, and the mission plaque on the descent stage reads 'We Came in Peace for All Mankind' — exactly as it does on the real LM descent stage, still sitting on the Moon today.

"A space fan since childhood, I watched the Apollo 11 anniversary documentaries and then immediately found this set. The detail is wonderful — the gold panels, the mission plaque, the footprint on the surface. Armstrong and Aldrin minifigures are perfect. Arrived sealed."
"Bought for my father who watched the original moon landing live in 1969. He built it in one day and was moved by how accurate the detail is. The mission plaque especially. Beautiful set."
