The liner gives a more pleasant tactile feeling than the shiny synthetic sleeping bag interior. Additional benefit of being easier to launder than the sleeping bag. Great sleeping bag liner, very very ultra light (on my digital scale, it weighted only 122g), soft to the touch, very comfortable and well made. It will save my sleeping bag from washing (and probably ruining it by doing so). I would definitely recommend it.
